Taliban released several people in Samangan after accepting bribes

Samangan: Taliban forces arrested 13 people in Aybak city of Samangan province while gambling in a part of this city and then released them in exchange for bribes.

Local sources told that employees of the first district of the Taliban police for Samangan province arrested 13 people while gambling from one of the guesthouses in the village of Geza Mullah Qurban in the city of Aibak around 11:00 on Friday, 23rd of Cancer.

According to the source, Gazmeh, the head of the first district, together with the commander of the first Taliban police district, released the gamblers after receiving 105,000 Afghanis.

This is despite the fact that the Taliban group has always talked about fighting corruption in the offices under their control, but in practice they have not been able to do anything to curb corruption.
