Central Asia Under 14-year-old championship soccer competitions | Afghanistan won against Iran 1-0

Afghanistan won 1-0 against Iran in the under-14 championship football competition of Central Asia.

This match was held on Friday 11th of November 2022 in the stadium of Hisor city in Tajikistan.

Yaser Safi scored the only goal of the game in Hisor Central Stadium.

The under-14 football team of Afghanistan will face Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the coming days.

Before this match, Zahir Hosni, the head coach of Afghanistan’s national youth team, said in a press conference that despite the few facilities they had, they practiced regularly.

He says, without a doubt, our facilities are less compared to the opponent’s facilities, but in terms of talent, Afghan players are great.
